This quote truly defines the Carmel libraries. Carmel has two libraries - Junior and Senior. With a total number of 20,000 books, the libraries provide the students with a wide range of books so that they can rediscover the joy of reading.
The Carmel Library boasts of a large collection of fiction, non - fiction and reference books. the extensive reference section provides students with an unlimited resource for various projects, research work and also helps them in their preparation for competitive exams. The library has a computerised system managed by our librarian, Tr. Shipra Sarkar which makes issuing, borrowing and returning of books easy and convenient. The library also aims at equitable access to books for all members of the school.
There is also a well defined assortment of books with seperate sections for science, maths, hobby related booms, books on quiz, drama, debate, poetry, spirituality, etc. Magazines and newspapers enable students to improve and update the knowledge of national and international affairs.
Carmel organizes a book week every year in the month of April. A book exhibition and various activities such as book discussion, interaction with renowned authors are held at this time.We can proudly say that Carmel has one of the best libaries in Delhi
