Dear Students,
Coming to school should always be a happy moment. School is a sacred place where you learn, grow, and shape your future. Remember, you are the sculptor of your own life. While many labourers may build a school in a few years, your life is something you build yourself, slowly, carefully, and thoughtfully.
A sculptor needs a chisel to create a beautiful statue. Similarly, there are chisels in our lives that shape us into what we wish to become.
The first chisel is Punctuality. Waking up on time helps you organize your day and reach school prepared. A positive start leads to a productive day.
The second chisel is Discipline. Discipline means wearing your uniform properly, completing your homework on time, and avoiding procrastination. It means taking responsibility for your own actions and growth.
The third chisel is Happiness. Happiness is contagious. It creates positivity, builds confidence, and helps you feel better about yourself and others. A happy mind learns better and grows stronger.
Punctuality, discipline, and happiness will bring you success in all that you do.
Let me share a short anecdote titled “The Sculptor’s Masterpiece.”
Once, a traveler saw a sculptor working on a stone. He asked, “What are you doing?”
The sculptor replied, “I am creating a masterpiece called ‘The Statue of Perseverance.’”
The traveler saw only repeated hammering and said, “But I only see you striking the stone again and again.”
The sculptor smiled and said, “Each strike may seem small, but together they shape the final form.”
In the same way, your daily habits and efforts shape your life into something meaningful and beautiful. Create habits and hobbies which will help you reach your goal.
I wish you a year filled with growth, learning, happiness, and pleasant surprises.
